Get Closet Genie on your phone

No app store needed. Add Closet Genie to your home screen in a few taps — it's free, takes up almost no space, and always stays up to date.

iPhone & iPad

Use Safari (iOS 16.4 or later for notifications).

  1. 1Open yourclosetgenie.com in Safari.
  2. 2Tap the Share button (square with an arrow) at the bottom or top of the screen.
  3. 3Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. 4Tap “Add”. Closet Genie now appears on your home screen like any app.

Notifications on iPhone only work when you open Closet Genie from the home-screen icon.

Android

Use Chrome (Samsung Internet and Edge work similarly).

  1. 1Open yourclosetgenie.com in Chrome.
  2. 2Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  3. 3Tap “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
  4. 4Confirm with “Install”. The Closet Genie icon appears in your apps.

Computer

Chrome or Edge on Windows, Mac or Linux.

  1. 1Open yourclosetgenie.com.
  2. 2Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar.
  3. 3Click “Install”. Closet Genie opens in its own window.

On a Mac with Safari, choose File → Add to Dock.
